My storage suggestion

Need help organizing your growing accessory and make up collection? Storage is many peoples bĂȘte noire (a perso/ thing strongly detested or avoided). Let’s admit, getting everything in the right place is really hard, especially if we don’t have a lot of storage options, and most of them don’t look so chic.  Whenever your collections grows there always a struggle to readjust, that’s why finding the right case is a must. I’m sure you’ve experienced losing a pair of earring, and don’t know where to find it, so Im going to share to you some tips on how to keep them always together and prolonging  your accessories  lives.

I put my accessories individually in a small ziplock (P75 for 100pcs), before I put them inside this Familia case, available at SM Dept Store for about P250.

My bangles are stored in microwaveable round containers, Php35 for 5pcs.

Late last year I almost gave up on finding the right storage for my make-up, remember the clear acrylic organizer I wished for Christmas? (link here). .  Well it’s pretty costly, so I ended up using cosmetics bags instead. But because of my recent opportunity trip, I came across this clear acrylic case from Sephora, thanks Chayne and Candee for this wonderful gift! Because it’s clear, I can easily know &  grab things I need when applying make-up.

If you’re a make-up junkie like me, surely one of your dream destinations is
                                                                                                        Sephora.

If you like having your things around I’m sure you want to keep them always neat and pretty, I hope my storage tips inspired you to get organize. Have fun organizing ladies and good luck!

Color Therapy Par Deux

Happy Monday Dolls! Color really has a way with us, and most of you agree with me.  The colors choice we surround ourselves affect us more than we think. We associate colors with so many different things!  And these ladies are proud to wear their color on their sleeves, they even have meanings beyond simple visual stimulation.

Here they are in their favorite color.

Roselle – is a budding entrepreneur, and a self confessed fashion addict. She expresses it by wearing big statement pieces, better be fun than be boring.  Why green? Shades of green are calm and soothing plus it’s the color of money, and suggests wealth”

Chayne - is still blushing from her December wedding! A very passionate woman and I feel I can never catch her with a hair out of place. Reds the one for her, it empowers the wearer. It’s also strongly associated with romance and passion, making it a perfect date-night color.

Manet – my go to girl, I can borrow anything from her closet, because we have the same style. She has a contagious laugh and pretty much my 2nd opinion when I second guess my self.  She’s not feeling blue when she wears blue, in fact this color can be peaceful and calming. It inspires her to be more creative.

Art – is a successful salon owner. Running a small business is less fun than you think, but this doll knows how to manage the day looking oh-so-good without an effort. Pink is a true girly-girl’s favorite color, but it’s also associated with romance and happiness.

A person’s clothes are the best way to find out about their personality, mood, and style of life. Colors however inspire, energize or calm us, channel some of its powers into your outfits and see what happens.

Have fun ladies and stay chic!

Color Therapy

Shot by Al Bigornia, shawl by Ms. Gigi

Hi ladies, yes I’ve been lazy, bored, sick and momentarily lost my mojos. (losing enthusiasm)  I guess I need something to take away the unnecessary pressures that I put on myself and using colors through my daily wardrobe is exactly what I need and probably some of you can benefit too.  For centuries Color has been known to dramatically affect our health, inner harmony and even our emotions. Each color has its own frequency and vibration, so I think a pop of color to our everyday wardrobe can instantly make us feel better and more cheerful.

What’s your color choice today ladies?
RED - stimulates brain wave activity, increases heart rate, respirations and blood pressure, and excites sexual glands. It is associated with courage, strength, willpower and aggressiveness. Benefits maybe overcoming negative thoughts, self confidence, and a feeling of security and safety.

ORANGE - is warm and joyful. It connects to our emotional self. It is associated with sociability, success, happiness, and resourcefulness.  Benefits maybe optimism, expanded interest, anti-depressant and remove inhibitions.

YELLOW- is warm to hot. It connects to our mental self.  It energizes, relieves depression, improves memory, stimulates curiosity and interest and also helps with anxiety.

GREEN - has a calming effect and balances the nervous system. It is soothing, relaxing mentally as well as physically helps those suffering from depression, anxiety, nervousness.  It’s refreshing and cool. It connects us to unconditional love

BLUE - is calming and cooling to our system and hence, a good color to counteract hypertension. Spiritually it is the color of health and connects us to holistic thought.

So weather you have a bad mood, had your heart broken, sick or bored, play with colors, incorporate them in your outfits.  Remember you are the color you choose. Have fun ladies and I hope all of you are feeling better already!
