Bra-blems solved!

Hello ladies and hope everyone is having a good rest beacuse of the long weekend. Today's post is very intimate, and Im sure most of you can relate to. I remember realizing that I've been wearing the wrong bra size since Miranda's scene on the famous HBO show Sex and the City.  (Scene uploaded by gejowka: link here)  Right after that, I did consult a salesperson and read a bit more about correct bra fittings. Indeed getting the right bra style,size and cup  felt more comfortable and I felt more free.

Below are some Bra-blems I'm sure you've experience, plus throwing in also some suggestions  on how to resolve them.

1. Slipping Straps - very annoying and not sexy (unless your inside the bedroom with the hubby) ... to avoid SS, make sure your bra is put on correctly, pull it   down at the back so its under your shoulder blades and even with the front. If your bra is too high on the back,  it might be causing the strap to fall off your shoulders. 

2. Back Band riding up - if this is happening to you, clearly you are wearing the wrong bra size. Get a correct fit, the one that will be snug and create a straight line across the back. If bra is too loose it will surely ride up, and front side will sag. It might also be a sign that your bra is old, and has stretch out, therefore it needs replacement.

3. Straps digging in - bra straps should'nt cause pain, it should not also be the one holding up your breast, it should be lifted by the band underneath and not lifted by the straps. Again it might help to consult a salesperson to get the correct bra size and kind. My two weekends in Photos

I miss putting up an outfit and sale finds here on the blog, blame it on the very busy work week, including Saturday, I don’t have that much time to write and take photos.  But thankfully, the work shift has now allowed me to be free every weekend. I already enjoyed my 3 work free weekends, and now I am ready again to commit on posting great finds, and sharing my inspirations to keep everything chic and lovely!

Ladies, let me share my past 2 weekends in photos, I get to wear the other floral romper which I purchased some time ago, (click here for the link), get a new hat, just because …… I know it’s not a typical outfit accessory but a good floppy hat really helps especially when you are walking around on a sunny day.  Aside from getting it for only $5, yes believe it! , the color really helps up to brighten your OOTD.  So without further ado, here are my off days summary in photos!

Beach Bling: Metallic Tattoos

Summer is really here, and I bet you've just been on a swimming trip last holiday. It’s been really a while since I've been to the beach so last Easter Sunday together with friends we hit the beach.  The long hour drive and the fear of leaving something behind whenever on a vacation (wink …becoming forgetful), I do not bring gold or precious jewelry on trips. Have the same fear as mine? Metallic tattoos are very pretty and chic, they can be worn by itself or match it with your other fashion accessories, and they really look adorable.  They can be worn as a necklace, bracelet, ring, anklet and just anywhere! Tattoos are not just for kids anymore, I’ve seen them a lot on TV, magazines, celebrities, fashion bloggers and models. They are pretty easy to put on, just make sure you skin is free from oil or creams, remove the clear cover and position the design carefully, press with wet cloth to transfer and let design set. It can last up to a week.

My sidewalk surfer from Sanuk

It’s the most awaited time of the year again girls, I’m sure you are now preparing your house to get that Christmas thing going on and starting a list of what to give family and friends this holiday.  Gift shopping is definitely on the weekend agenda right?  Yes, guilty of that, and I felt it’s an excuse to get flats that will help me navigate malls easily.

I like to wear flip flops or sandals whenever I go to the mall but because of the volume of people in the mall, I like to keep my feet covered for protection, just in case somebody step on my foot.

Wednesday Update: Biore Micellar Cleansing Water

Scented Tips

The week ends again, and this is also the last Friday for the month, how time flies! Very soon it’s going to be the BER month, so to welcome the festive mood, I’d like to share and I’m sure you’ll love to try these scented nail polish. Weekender: My $5 challenge

Its Friday once again ladies, and I am psyche about this coming weekend, I’ll be sleeping over at my friend’s house and we will do some cooking, but you know what excites me the most? It’s about having that girl time, we are all grown up women, but you know, we still enjoy dressing up each other once we are together in one room.  So ladies, I’m ready to brag, yes, my $5sgd finds this week.

It’s funny how I can still inject my weekly mall trips to my very busy week, hey I feel I will get sick if I don’t visit the mall even once in a week, I’m sure you can all relate girls, whether we are not buying anything , it’s always nice to browse and window shop right? My trips to the mall was worth it this week, I get to stumble upon this two uniquely styled top for $5 per piece.

My Red Comeback

Hello ladies! Yep I’m back, after a year of giving myself time to settle in a new Country, new City, new Friends and new Shops…yes! Hello Singapore!... I have this undeniable feeling to share again my gorgeous finds. Yes I missed all of you ladies and a way to splash some colour to my comeback, I chose to wear red heels.  My recent loss does not allow me to wear bright and happy coloured clothes, so wearing red heels still allows me to keep that “amazing feeling” without looking inappropriate.

So here are a few hints on how to wear a daring red pumps.

My red heels : Steve Madden

1.   Dark Denim – wear them with you’re darkest denim with just a simple top, an over-sized tee, add a metal bangle and over-sized sunnies and you can instantly feel “fashion”.

2.     Wear to work – red heels is a way to break free from wearing the same old uniform/professional clothes that we wear almost weekly. Pairing your red pumps to your tailored dark skirts and white top can instantly liberate you from the attire standards.

3.    Pair it with neutrals – red is best paired with neutrals, like black, dark navy blue, grey, cream and white.

Keep it simple and chic, remember if you’re going to wear red heels, don’t overdo it with a red dress and red accessories. We want to keep it classic ladies!
