Hi ladies! I can’t believe Septembers over, I feel like I have so much to share to you before December hits, because there's so much to write about the coming Christmas season, gifts, food, shopping and decorating! It’s almost overwhelming, so as we inch closer to the second BER month, I picked to share a trend that has maintained its popularity for quite sometime now. I’m talking about menswear on women. You heard right! I think men’s clothing and accessories are very flattering and sexy. They can be mixed up with feminine pieces for a balanced look. When worn correctly, menswear on women can be glamorous.
I was inspired by the “borrowed-from-the-boys look” from vogue, so I decided to put together my list of menswear that women can have in their closets.
1. A cotton button-down shirt is an extremely versatile piece. |
2. I just got this 3 weeks ago, I absolutely love the look of a simple men's gold watch when worn by a woman. |
3.2. These aviator Raybans are from my good friend James V., Thanks! |
1. 3.1. Classic men's sunglasses, like aviators or wayfarers look cool on women. |
4. A men’s blazer or jacket is another versatile piece- with jeans and t-shirt, over a dress- the possibilities are endless, and they add a tailored, put-together feel to your outfit. |
1.
5. A hat, this looks cute when worn with a plain t-shirt or with a vest. |
6. I always wanted to wear a real necktie, choose a tie that has a fun print, so that you can wear it as an accessory. |
7. Men’s bling blings… I love them so much, I wear them when I want to look rockish. |
Not only can menswear add a little something to your outfit, they can be a pocket saver too, just imagine how much you can save if you can borrow something from your brother or boyfriends closet. Just keep it girlie with a ladylike handbag or add a touch of bright hued lipstick and you’ll be anything but fabulous. Enjoy mix and matching!
Wow super nice. Are you the model of those pictures? I really love reading your blog because you keep us updated in latest fashions & styles. Keep it up, babe!
